Our journey began in 1990 with a small team of doctors who shared a common vision: to provide the best care possible to the community. Dr. K.C. Sharma
M.B.B.S MS (DELHI) , Chief Consultant Surgeon
With an illustrious career spanning over five decades, Dr. K.C Sharma stands as a stalwart in the field of healthcare, rural service, and social contributions. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (M.B.B.S) from GMC Srinagar (1965) and a Master's in General Surgery (M.S) from Delhi (1970), Dr. Sharma has been an unwavering force in the medical community.
His leadership roles include serving as the President of the Association of Rural Surgeons of India (2007-2009), President of the Regional Surgeon Association (1996), and various other prestigious positions within medical and social organizations. Dr. Sharma's commitment extends to education as a Regional Consultant for the Indira Gandhi National Open University (I.G.N.O.U) in 2003 and 2004.
Engaging in rural service since 1965, Dr. Sharma has tirelessly provided healthcare in remote areas, including Ladakh, Poonch, Doda, and Udhampur. Beyond medical practice, he actively contributes to society, serving as the President of Duggar Heritage Society and Brahaman Sabha (Reg.) Udhampur.
Dr. Sharma's scientific contributions are numerous, spanning surgery, medicine, parasitology, dermatology, ultrasonography, and agriculture. He has introduced innovative surgical techniques, medications, and methodologies that have significantly impacted medical practice.
Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Dr. Sharma has received numerous awards, including the National Award for Outstanding Innovations by the Government of India (2016) and the highest Jammu & Kashmir State Award for Meritorious Public Service (2005). His leadership and research have left an indelible mark, making him a respected figure in the medical and academic communities.

Matriculation - Gurmat Kanya Pathshala Pacca Danga Jammu followed by women College Parade Jammu & MBBS from Govt. Medical College Srinagar & PG from GMC Jammu.
Served at remote areas Poonch, Kathua, Chenani Udhampur & held medical camps in every nook and corner of Jammu Division from Bani, Bilawar, Basolhi, Badharwah, Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, Pouni, Katra, Sunderbani, Neshehra, Rajouri, Gool, Gulabgarh, Sangaldan, Samba, Arnas, Mongori, Gordhi, Ramnagar Akhanoor & many more.
Serving continuously to the people of the Udhampur and surrounding areas since 1978 (41 yrs). Now even serving patients during Covid period.
Free service rendered to GRIEF Air Force for 1 year. Free camp rendered free operative service to M.H Northern Command.
She is soft spoken competent in her profession in addition being a sympathetic towards all the patients to give them relief.
For her selfless services this organization honours her today.
